The client initially planned to transport cabinet door panels from San Marino to Italy via road transport. However, the client decided to change the mode of transportation and ultimately opted to ship the goods to Beijing via air freight. This change prompted Realogistics to make a series of operational adjustments.

Operation Process
1. Customs Clearance Confirmation:
Realogistics repeatedly confirmed with the client that this shipment did not require customs clearance.
2. Transportation Mode Adjustment:
The client decided to switch from the original road transport plan to air transport to Beijing and informed that the T2 declaration had been completed. However, after verification with the shipper, Realogistics discovered that the T2 declaration was not yet completed.
3. Repackaging:
Due to the stricter packaging requirements for air transport, Realogistics recommended repackaging to avoid damage during transit.
In this case, the client's adjustment in transportation mode highlighted the complexity of the EU's internal transit procedures and the operational considerations in different modes of goods transport.
