Realogistics successfully completed a crucial full-process transportation project for an Lithography Machine. The project involved transporting the oversized cargo from the manufacturing facility in Malmo, Sweden, to HHN Airport in Germany, and finally, via direct flight, to CGO Airport in Zhengzhou, China. The entire process encompassed door-to-port air freight import services.
The project faced challenges, including the need to maintain a constant temperature and humidity for the precision instrument, strict requirements for the shock absorption coefficient of the delivery vehicles, the substantial size of the cargo with individual units weighing 11 tons, necessitating anti-shock and tilt measures, and the customer arranging for truck ramp delivery at the destination airport, with limited options due to the upcoming National Day holiday leading to a shortage of cargo space.
To address these challenges, Realogistics implemented various measures, such as confirming delivery vehicle information in advance, applying for road transportation permits, securing flight reservations and cargo space, and scheduling loading equipment ahead of time.
