Background:
- On June 5, 2024, Realogistics received an urgent request from a VIP client to package and ship 13 tons of project cargo to NLU Airport in Mexico.
- Cargo Information: 30 pieces, 13 tons, 76 cubic meters.
Challenges:
- Tight Deadline: The client required the cargo to arrive by June 7th and be shipped as soon as possible.
- Special Cargo: Over-length and overweight, requiring repackaging.
- Transportation Requirements: Required a direct flight.
Solution:
1. Rapid Response: Realogistics responded immediately on June 5th. Based on the client's arrival time and cargo characteristics, an emergency plan was developed for a direct flight from Hong Kong to NLU, Mexico on June 11th.
2. Efficient Collaboration: On June 8th, Realogistics held a multi-party video conference with the client, the client's factory, the Shenzhen warehouse, the route, and the booking agent to confirm all box numbers and markings. Confirmation was completed that afternoon.
3. Professional Operation:
- On the evening of June 7th, the cargo arrived at the Shenzhen warehouse, and repackaging was immediately carried out by Realogistics.
- On June 9th, repackaging was completed, and markings were made and affixed according to the repackaged dimensions.
- On June 10th, Realogistics completed the preparation, review, and cross-border operations of the customs declaration documents.
4. Successful Shipment: On June 11th, all 30 pieces of cargo successfully departed from Hong Kong.
